Sweat memorable journey to France

For you guys whom do not know, I'm currently in Toulouse France doing my industrial training.

Well lucky for me and 4 more college buddies of mine (Areff, David, Lingges and Kwan) got this once in a life time chance to do our internship in France. It sounds so fun and nice at first to get to travel half way around the world to France to learn their culture, life style, language, cuisine and so on.
It really seem fun and all but the trouble we 5 have gone through is really a pain in the ass.

So our story began, all of us meet up in KLIA, check in our luggage and all and straight to the gate which our flight ticket assign us to, then a long 7hr 25min to Doha international airport where we need to change another plane to get to Paris. Then another 7hr from Doha to Paris
Charles de Gaulle airport. Both flights were qutar airways and ya, their service and food is good (other than the rock hard seats we got)

Finally Paris! let the fun begin.

Got out from the plane happily then after 10 min we find our self in the security room 'got detain' yup i read it right we got DETAIN. Not bad for the first impression of France security rite. The huge 'muscles' police officer call our restaurants one by one to confirm our purpose to France. It took one hour to get it all done. And we were there all worried and clueless on what had happen.

After that, we went to search for our luggage and straight to buy the train ticket to Toulouse where we were supposed to meat up with Mr Pierre, the french lecturer from Universite de Toulouse (our college partner in France)

What fun we had getting lost in the air port looking for the train station with our feather weight luggage that is. We got to the train station and David and Areff buy the tickets for us while me and the girls stand guard the luggage. The plan was to get a mid night train to Toulouse and reached there at 6.30am
and meet up with Mr Pierre. Unfortunately, the mid night train is full and the only option we got is the 6.20pm train.

Travel a distance with subway train to get to Gare du Australitz. Yet again we got lost and having trouble buying the subway train tickets, caring our luggage up and down the stairs and with 20min to spare before our train leaves, we arrived at Gare du Australitz and all of us were hungry and did not eat since the last 6 hours ago. Me and Areff run and buy some sandwich to munch then off we go to Toulouse.

The train seats were as hard as rock and its hard to sleep with the noise of each passing train. After 6 hours or so we arrived at
Gare de Toulouse Matabiau, checked into a hotel called Ibis and drop dead on the bed till the next morning and we were half an hour late for our appointment with Mr Pierre.

Did not see him around the station so we called and called and called trying to get to him and he arrived around 10am. From that point onwards, we separate to 3 groups which is Areff and David a restaurant in Albi, the girls Lingges and Kwan took bus to their assigned restaurant and me all alone.

I was the special one whom was all alone in a French country with no knowledge at all about french language and ya, that all about it. Mr Pierre drove me to Universite de Toulouse while waiting for my Chef to come and pick me up to his restaurant. Over there i was given a tour around the university by Mr Francis and was provided lunch as well.

I found out that Universite de Toulouse is a government University unlike Taylor's is a Private college. French girls are B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L. its like a guys heaven on earth. After a few hours Chef Ugo Plazzota came and pick me up to his restaurant 'Au Pois Gourmand' where i will be working there for the next 2 and half months.

My chef is a very friendly guy whom was an ex Taylor's student whom just got married one month before i got there. He speaks very good english, lucky for me or not i will have a lot of trouble communicating with them.

Sorry guys, i cant upload the pictures i have right now due to i did not take along the camera cable with me.
